Important Notice: Limited Capacity and Guidelines for Virgil

Subject: Important Notice: Limited Capacity and Guidelines for Virgil Transfer Station

Please note some important updates regarding the Virgil Transfer Station, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of our town.

Due to the limited capacity of the Virgil Transfer Station, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines:

  1. Accepted Materials: Only household trash generated within the Town of Virgil will be accepted at the Virgil Transfer Station.
  2. Restrictions on Construction Debris: Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept dump trucks or dump trailers full of construction debris at the Virgil Transfer Station. Please make alternative arrangements for the disposal of such materials.
  3. Trip Limit: To better manage the station's capacity, we request that each resident limit their trips to the transfer station to one time per day. This will help ensure that the facility remains an effective and viable resource for the entire community.

These guidelines are crucial to maintaining the efficiency and functionality of the Virgil Transfer Station. By adhering to these rules, we can collectively contribute to the well-being of our town and ensure that the transfer station continues to serve its intended purpose effectively.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and support in this matter. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please feel free to contact the Town of Virgil's Highway Superintendent..

Let's work together to keep Virgil clean and sustainable.
